The Supply Chain Consortium uses comprehensive web based online interviews to lead members through the data
collection phase of the benchmarking and Hot Topic processes. The interviews include the following

Instructions –
clear, concise online instructions guide members through the information collection process.

Online Enrollment –
each member company designates an executive sponsor, usually the senior executive directly responsible for
supply chain or logistics strategy and execution. The executive sponsor uses the online enrollment
process to delegate the completion of individual best practice sections to an internal supply chain
management team.

Best Practices Data Collection –
all best practices questions are answered online.

Status Monitoring –
the executive sponsor, assigned management team members, as well as the consortium’s support team, are able
to monitor interview progress and assist with questions.
